Hey, I’m Tom.

I’m a writer and artist, currently at work putting together my debut novel, a techno-thriller.

Before writing I was in tech for many years until at 39, I was fired. That led to a creative blossoming I never could have expected. I flailed around a bit trying to find my thing by writing online, starting a YouTube channel, and even trying to write a biography about a dead mystic. Eventually, I settled on the realization that what I loved was storytelling and what I wanted to do, more than anything else, was to write fiction.

I’m still figuring out how best to use Substack but you can expect, at the minimum, to see books I recommend, films I analyze, original writing from me, and lots of creative inspiration that helps fuel me through the ups and downs of creative life.
